The Lib Dem Party Conference - The Revolution Will Be Televised
(Barnie and James visit the Lib Dem Party Conference to chat to their peers.)
WARNING! THIS IS NOT A TEST. Be prepared. The revolution is coming. And it will be televised.
Okay, so maybe we’re not going to carry a bunch of flaming torches and pitchforks to Parliament angry mob style just yet, but there is a brand new satirical comedy series on its way that we’re really, really excited about.
The Revolution Will Be Televised is a new 30-minute show that will air on BBC Three later this month, starring Don’t Panic’s favourite troublemakers, Heydon Prowse and Jolyon Rubinstein. Pulling tricks, stunts and all-round mischief, the guys turn the tables on the UK’s most corrupt and greedy figures and make them look downright foolish.
Don’t take our word for it – there’s been a lot of media hype about the show already. Did you hear about ah pet Cheryl Cole storming out of a BBC TV interview? Or Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer himself, George Osborne, being handed a GCSE Maths book? Well, that was all down to TRWNBT – and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
You might recognise the stunt-loving lads from other virals they’ve made for us in the past – including Gone Fishing, where they locked London’s Nobu restaurant in protest of their serving an endangered kind of tuna, and Alan Duncan Pound Force, where they dug a ‘£’ sign into naughty MP Alan Duncan’s garden, after the extent of his dirty expense-exhorting ways was revealed in the news.
So, comrades, get your funny bones in shape, your telly boxes in gear and prepare for the coming revolution! Shit’s gonna get real – and it’s gonna be hilarious.
