Recently Secretary of Education Michael Gove proposed a taxpayers fund gift for the Queen – likely to cost at least £60m – guess what? A new royal yacht to mark the diamond jubilee, replacing the old one decommissioned by Tony Blair. One of the would-be sailors of the new vehicle, named Nimrod Kamer, chased the minister to try and get an advance on that sum. He also caught up with flush model Alexa Chung and other members of the public. As soon as the ship can sail - the better. The Queen shouldn't wait much longer, some things are more important than the NHS.
