FAIRTRADE AND THE COKE TRADE

By jp

Do you have friends who like to wax lyrical about organic onions and fair-trade tea only to buy themselves a nice fat gram of gak to shove up their noses on the weekend? Well read this and then, armed with the facts, you can go and tell them how full of shit they are!

  • It's not only what you do, but how you do it!!!
Who cares if I spend my money on drugs? My mum, sure! In this society no one cares about anyone. And everyone thinks they're better than everyone else, without even knowing what "better" or being "good" means. Pure good hearts, where are you?

  • - In one way I agree with the article - hippies, be careful cause you might not be as hippie as you think (and that doesn't mean you're not a good person). It's not only what you do, it's also how you do it. It's almost literally impossible to be "politically correct" all the time with the world.
    - On the other way, I think Fair trade is trendy, good to sell products and make people -go to bed thinking they did a good action. In many cases, I hope they did. I also hope one day everyone can afford organic and local products.
    - And...hope one day coke comes to the consumer in good health and safety conditions and the money spend on it is used for the community and not for the shark at the end of the food chain of hypocrites.
----About some comments posted here - People shouldn't manifest so strongly any kind of hate about anyone, even it's the junkie around the corner.. it might hit you one day and you won't be able to deal with it. And hate is so politically incorrect...

  • Anon is right, according to the newspapers (purveyors of truth and decency) Amy Crackhouse is soon going to shuffle off her mortal coil as a result of a coke-influenced irregular heartbeat.

    Score! Keep it up cokeheads...

  • Cocaine is one of the least ethical products that you can buy. Certain people need to wake up to their own hypocrisy.
