The Count and Sinden (you know the guys who made that Beeper tune) have started a new night called Mega Mega Mega at On the Rocks. It's like absolutely mega as you can see from the photos. Our buddies at Dollop spoke to Herve aka The Count about it and this is what he had to say:

What made you want to put on a night?

We wanted a night that represented the Count and Sinden and the DJs, acts and music we vibe off, and we just want to put on the best jam in London!

Why did you call the night Mega Mega Mega?

That’s what we wanted the night to be....

What makes your party stand out from others? 

Brilliant DJs/acts for three quid and the crowd go flippin mental... we had moshing/slam dancing to Chase and Status playing dubstep last Thursday. It was crazy.

Do you guys get involved or just sit in the backrooms and wait for your sets?

No we are normally there from the beginning. It’s been so good, better than we expected so we are already excitedly planning the second run for next year.

Who have you got lined-up up for us at Mega Mega Mega? What influenced these bookings?

We’ve got Sunship (underground legend!) and Mistajam (one of the best club DJs on radio and in the club!) as headline guests and DJ Martelo (DJ in his own right and Santogold tour DJ) down. And of course the Count and Sinden.

Do you get more satisfaction from playing at one of your own events?

When it’s as good as the previous Mega Mega Mega parties have been then yes!

So the album is set for 2009. What can we expect? Any surprises?

Hopefully you can expect to love it!!! We have some great guests on there, a few guests you may not have heard of and a few you will have heard of. It’s gonna be great.

Is there anything coming up for Machines Dont Care that we should know about? Do you plan on inviting everyone down for a MMM event?

For the next run of Mega Mega Mega next year we'll get a few Machines peeps down, firstly Fake Blood! We already had Toddla T down for the first MMM.

What other artists are you loving at the moment?

Zomby, Skream, Jack Beats - new stuff that I’ve signed to my label Cheap Thrills is sick! His Majesty Andre’s EP that I signed for my Cheaper Thrills label is great and blowing up.
