Electronic or indie? You decide.
When Subotica brought Simian Mobile Disco to the humble university city of Durham, no one knew what to expect. With its cobbled streets and palatial grounds it was hardly ready for the electro-indie invasion that SMD provided. We met the man himself, Jas Shaw, one half of the effervescent electro duo. Cramped in a small room we were sat on the floor and he was reclining comfortably in one of those spinning chairs. And so the hierarchy was established.
