The Instagram Camera
Everything's come full circle...
There's an Instagram camera now guys, but it was bound to happen sometime. What's weird, however, is that the people behind it are Polaroid, which means that Polaroid have designed something to imitate something that was designed to imitate Polaroid. That, my friends, is what post-modernism is all about, I think? Maybe not, maybe it's just 'meta'.
The Instagram camera simultataneously uploads a picture to Instagram and prints a copy, which is nice, but I can't work out where I'd keep these prints if I was on the go or at a party or whatever, and where would you even put the camera? That big wide screen's gonna get fucked up easily too. Nice try, but I give it til next Spring before production of this stops completely and everyone at Polaroid commits Hari Kari. Sorry.
