He started out at college, "drawing dicks and weird shit in a little dictionary I nicked off my mum that she had when she was little". So, you're going into your final year?

Yeah, I'm coming up to my last year at university now and I hope it all goes well. I hope Ican be doing some commisioned work while in my last year to add to the stress of all the work I have to do anyway! I wouldn't mind some pennies while I'm working on my final year show! Hopefully it will be a lot more contemporary and free as I'll be able to follow my own brief instead of the shit ones that the uni have been circulating since Jesus was born. I don't know yet what will be in the exhibition but it should be good, so come and have a look when it's on!

How to be

Your poster design looks a bit like Frank from Shameless. We like Frank from Shameless, but is he really at peace?

My poster looks like Frank from Shameless!?! Haha, I noticed that a few weeks after making it. It also looks a bit like the shady person you always see at the bus station picking chewing gum off the floor! I s'pose Frank from Shameless is at peace as long as he's got his dole money for his brew 'n' his E's. He's rate funny.

Opinions, they're like arseholes...

I'm not the yoga, quiet type of person so I reckon i'll take Frank's path on that question! I do like being in the woods though. Woods are gnarly - black panthers 'n' shit!

You drew Fritzl as a dog creature. Have you considered courtroom sketches as a career path? I don't think they ever have enough of the artist in them.

Courtroom sketches are pretty boring really aren't they? Would be good to add a bit of individuality, but I don't know whether it would go down well if the BBC News broadcast some person in court with a ballbag for a chin or a penis for a nose!

Cartoons!

Yeah I always draw my stuff on old paper, graph paper and all that type of stuff. I've been collecting paper for ages now, my grandma's the best person. She collects loads of it then gives it me in bulk. It's best to go into derelict warehouses and offices for the top asbestos-ridden stuff! I've got plenty of that. I started drawing on that sort of paper because of drawing in class I suppose. I used to draw in class a lot more than listening.

What do you have on your desk right now?

On my desk now is nothing because I'm at my Mum's house but usually it's got so much crap on it i can't see the desk. I dont like clean desks or studios. I hate it when you go in a room and it's so white and clean you feel like your inside an ipod!!
