NUCLEAR

CHRISTIAN MOLLER

By Carmen Fishwick

Berlin-based artist Christian Möller has just finished an exhibition at the Vegas Gallery called Judgement Day - an appropriate name as his paintings are a bit like what your mind would look like after you heard the announcement on the news that nuclear war had been officially declared. His canvasses are huge and intended to serve as a reminder of our own diminutive position in relation to the universe. His artworks are called things like And Once Again a Day Closer to the Grave and Why the Graves Are Always Filled With Optimists – graves are a strong theme. Take a look at his work and pray you don't get stuck next to him at a dinner party.
