Sip the Juice and Delicious Vinyl have managed to secure the services of the one and only Pharcyde, not only that, but they will be performing their undisputed classic album ‘Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde’. In the 20 years since the album was released much has changed within the world of Hip Hop. Words now end in ‘ezy’ and Asher Roth is popular..... So maybe Hip Hop has lost its way to the gangster rap of the late 90’s and the consumer vanity of the Noughties, but albums such as Bizarre Ride stand the test of time to influence generation after generation lamenting on the Golden age of what once was.

Although not quite the full original line up (unfortunately 20 years and politics are to blame for the split) you can still rest assured that this will be a very special gig for those in the know. The album will be performed in it’s entirety and the support for the gig features Bristol’s underground Hip Hop legends ‘The Aspects’ joining forces once again to create a very more special show for true fans of the genre.

Three Kings High will also be supporting. If you haven’t heard these guys yet, get there early to witness their unique blend of Funk, Soul, Indie and Hip Hop.

Early birds (unsurprisingly) have already sold out, tickets are available for £15 from the O2 Academy box office so don’t ‘pass it by’ - sorry.

See you there!
