Sue Tilley rocketed from her position as an official at the DHSS to a figure recognised worldwide after she modelled for Lucian Freud's painting Benefits Supervisor Resting in 1994. The canvas was recently sold to Roman Abramovich for £17.2m, setting a record for the highest price paid for a living artist's work. Her neighbour Scottee popped round for a cup of tea and a chat.
