Free student degree shows in London
A decent summer in London should involve at least one British Wimbledon could've-been, a couple of 'heatwave' headlines in The Sun, and a plethora of free student degree shows at which to imbibe fresh art and free beer. While the first two look likely and the third is already upon us, with London College of Communication's 2009 show opening this week.
The theme is "5:1", which refers to the five disciplines that make up the BA Graphic & Media Design course: Typo/graphics, Illustration, Information Design, Design for Advertising and Interactive/Moving Image. As one of the top ten design schools in the world, the quality is bound to be good. How good? Well, we've got a preview of some the work so you can see for yourself.
