Horror Reimagined
Vintage horror film characters and pop art, a match made in kitsch hell. Wicked reimaginings from Alvaro Tapia Hidalgo.
Undead, undead, undead, Bela Lugosi's dead. Bauhaus were particularly forceful about that. Being dead can actually be pretty good for your career (just ask Kafka), and being one of the undead even better. In Lugosi's case, it immortalised him in the mind of millions as the architypal face of Dracula. These re-imagined illustrations by Alvaro Tapia Hidalgo of Lugosi, Christopher Lee, Frankenstein's Monster and others breath new life into old horror. Check out more of his work on his website.
