Former postpunk legend learns to draw while in hospital
Orange Juice front man Edwyn Collins will be displaying a series of ornithological drawings at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital from 15th January. After suffering a stroke in 2005 and for a time losing the power to speak, read and write, the post-punk legend rediscovered a love of drawing and began to draw a bird a day for the next four years. Come and see the delicate line drawings he made and muse on the healing power of art and the resilience of the creative spirit.
