Daddison

Daddison is an artist, graphic and website designer based in Bristol. If you’re not aware of  his work it’s likely you’ve probably already seen it – whether it’s posters he’s designed for club nights such as Blowpop, Dutty Girl and Donuts or websites such as BNTL and Seven.

After studying at UWE in Bristol, he started promoting and designing flyers for clubnights and made a website to showcase his skills. This in turn led to people asking for websites and he now runs his own venture building websites and creating graphic design for clients.

Daddison has strong links within the streetwear, art and music scene in both Bristol and London and tends to work with brands and shops within this area. He specialises in blogs and webstores and has built sites for the likes of Farah Menswear, Original PenguinDonuts and Rarekind London.

He has also designed for clothing labels – creating Donut’s 2nd Birthday T shirt, a range for Bite My Style – a collaboration with Dutty Girl - and a full collection for seminal London hiphop night, Kungfu.

When he’s not focusing on client work Daddison also creates his own paintings and patterns – which are currently being exhibited in Seven. The work consist of intricate patterns and bold colourful typography pieces which are available to buy and exhibited until the end of May.

Daddison has some exciting work coming up in the next few months including an autumn exhibition in London, a book with Spine TV and the usual steady supply of instantly recognisable posters and flyers.

To keep up to date on his projects check his website and Twitter. Daddison can also be found blogging at BNTL and Donuts.
