Written by Hannah Grantz / 30 Nov 2010
Charity Art Auction

British artist Julie-Anne Gilburt and The Willow Foundation have teamed up with over two-hundred established and have-a-go artists, each designing their own artwork on 20x20cm canvases, to hold a charity auction. A host of artists including Dan Baldwin and Rob Ryan, as well as SpongeBob SquarePants creator Stephen Hillenburg, and the likes of Jude Law and Cat Stevens, have been joined by others in the sports, fashion, art, entertainment and music industries to give back to The Willow Foundation.

Each piece of art will be auctioned off online from 26 November to 6 December through eBay.  Before all of the designs have been sold, they will be available for public viewing between 2nd and 5th of December at the Catto Gallery in Hampstead.

Proceeds earned from Stars on Canvas 2010 will be donated to The Willow Foundation, a national charity founded by former Arsenal player Bob Wilson and his wife, in memory of their daughter Anna who died of cancer aged 31.
