This Image shows Thomas Cale looking out the window and seeing the gates open then close as told in the book. I belive this excerpt was very powerful for it set the tone for the book and the image shows Cale getting a glimpse of what may be on the other side. I even inluded a image of a blue sack which he had that he was to deliver.
