Entry commentary
I have chosen to illustrate from the second excerpt. Showing Cales youth and violence. The rosary beads and blade in his left hand showing the brutality of his "religious" upbringing.

VERY NICE. The character in the face is disarming. The background very atmospheric. The composition is excellent. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into it yet it still has a spontaneous feel, which gives it an edge. I like this a lot.

It puts me in mind of a drug-riddled Gauguin if he had peen made privy to the new media of the 21st century. As an aesthete, one can only wonder at the societal impact this piece could have if enough people viewed it in this context.

I like this one, chiefly for the blue colour and the gargoyle (who looks slightly like he’s just burped – in a good way, fire or something)
