But Don't Panic are offering you the chance to do just that. We want you to create a personal, unique piece of work representing freedom, communication, locality or whatever you can draw from 3's Mobile Broadband dongle. The dongle is a simple bit of kit technically known as a USB modem. By plugging it into your laptop's USB port it will get you instant plug 'n' play internet access wherever you are - so whether you're in your living room at home, in the park or on the bus, as long as you get 3 signal you can get online. You can take any part of it as your inspiration: it's name, it's functionality, speed, mobilisation, the look, the internet, colour scheme etc.

The winning piece of work (3 & DP will choose a winner from the top 10 highest voted by the public) will net the artist £500. We'll also reproduce high-res copies as part of a limited edition collection of posters made available throughout east London, as well as a flyposter campaign, and stickers inside the DP packs. The collection will be exhibited in the Truman Brewery in October where the winner can come down and showcase their skills in a live 'art-off' with some of the UK's leading creative artists.

Your interpretation of the theme can be rendered using graphic design, illustration, photography, type or any medium you can think of which we can print. We suggest you work in vector format (Illustrator/Freehand) for scalability to these large sizes, or work to minimum A2 size or larger.

Requirements:

• Each poster will have to feature an unedited version of the 3 logo somewhere within the body of the piece. You can download a zip file of 3 logos here.
• A2 size (594 x 420mm)
• A0 (1189 x 841mm)
• 60 x 40 / ‘4 Sheet’ flyposter (1524 x 1015mm)
  
• Artwork must be PORTRAIT orientation
• For purposes of voting and pre-viewing in the web gallery, your entry needs to be formatted into a JPG or PNG format, resolution : 72dpi, Max Filesize: 1MB or less, before you begin submitting your entry.

Your poster entry will be auto-resized proportionally by us the fit our website. If your poster is chosen as the winner, you will be contacted to send over the hi-res (330 dpi) version of it. So be prepared to have this quality version ready if you are chosen.

The winning artist will receive £500 prize.
The winning piece of art will be printed on the A2 poster for DP issue ‘FOREVER’. 80,000 copies will be printed and distributed nationwide, and seen by over 320k people.
The winner will get 20 x flat copies of the printed A2 artwork.
The winner will have their work legally fly posted and distributed around Brick Lane & Hoxton, and reproduced on 30k sticker sheets.
The winner will have their work exhibited alongside 3 leading UK creative artists between 17-19th October in the 3/Don’t Panic Street Work Gallery at the Truman Brewery.
The winner will be invited down to the gallery to participate in a live art project, with all required equipment supplied.
