This poster is designed to celebrate communication. Its light hearted and nostalgic theme focuses on the history and development of television broadcasting. TV is a powerful tool which can be utilised in many different ways, since its invention 80 years ago it has become common place in many living rooms across the globe. It can be used to educate, enlighten and entertain, to thrill, shock and scare. It is a versatile medium which can and has communicated many different types of messages. The design of my poster aims to celebrate this exciting invention and recognise this positive effect.
