Entry commentary
Using the first excerpt as my inspiration I chose to illustrate the protagonist as he was gazing out of the window watching the young children being taken through the North West Gate. The style is very simplistic but hopefully still effective. Cale is silhouetted, adding to the sense of mystery surrounding the character. The colours are dark and moody which adheres with the overall tone of the excerpt.
I am a young designer with a particular interest in typography.
